How travel shaped the world – Autumn 2016

EarthThis course examines the way in which the knowledge of the shape of the earth has developed since earliest recorded times. Ideas of the world were shaped by migration, trade and religion. Developments in transport technology, including space travel, gradually pushed the boundaries of global knowledge and of human interaction.
