Poems for pleasure – Autumn 2015

stayingalive_poemsforpleasureWe will focus mainly on Astley’s anthology; a vast range of poems written in the contemporary idiom on matters of vital importance to each writer.  Blake’s Poems (1757-1827) will also be explored as he wrote with the same urgency two centuries earlier, and offers interesting comparisons.
